| The Clean and Green Singapore (CGS) 2010 Carnival is a 3-day event to be held at HortPark, a 23-hectare gardening hub connecting Telok Blangah Hill Park and Kent Ridge Park. Organised by the National Environment Agency and South West Community Development Council, with support from the National Parks Board and PUB, the national water agency, the CGS 2010 Carnival aims to inspire the public to protect and take greater ownership of our living environment. |

It offers fun-filled and educational activities that promote environmentally-friendly practices such as using energy-efficient appliances, taking public transport, recycling and more. By adopting these habits, each of us can play an important part in making our environment a better place to live, work and play.
